Day 68: Deconstructing Ask and It is Given - Part 3
In this post I'm continuing with my Deconstruction of Ask and It is Given, by Esther and Jerry Hicks, working with the following quote:
…As you enthusiastically made the decision to come into this physical body and create in this way, you understood, from your Non-Physical vantage point, that this physical world was not broken and in need of repair and you did not come forth to fix it.
You saw this physical world as a creative environment in which you, and everyone else, could express yourselves creatively and you did not come forth to try to get others to stop doing what they are doing and do something else. You came forth understanding the value in the contrast, and the balance in the variety.
Every physical Being on your planet is your partner in co-creation, and if you would accept that and appreciate the diversity of beliefs and desires-all of you would have more expansive, satisfying, and fulfilling experiences."
Now, before I get into the self forgiveness, I'll mention that the reason I am deconstructing this particular book, is because I myself read it in the 'beginning stages' of my 'spiritual awakening' (see previous posts in which I explain this in detail), where I believed and perceived myself to be a 'lightworker' here to fulfill the 'divine plan' in a perfect existence in which my only responsibility as a being was to 'spread love and light' and make myself feel good. Now, in my 'spiritual stage', I would read things like the above quote, and accept it immediately without any investigation or questioning or consideration whatsoever - simply because I liked the idea of the message, because it was easy to accept, it gave an easy to accept 'explanation' of why the world is what it is, and 'gave me permission' to simply focus on what I want to do and experience in my own life. Basically, what spirituality 'gave me', and gives everyone, is a purpose for 'my self interest.'
But, as I've shown in my previous posts, in looking at the spiritual experience with self honesty and common sense in simply considering what is best for all life, spirituality is clearly not what it sounds like / presents itself to be, as within my self forgiveness I've walked thus far in this blog I've shown how the starting point of participating within / accepting spirituality does not in fact benefit life, but only benefits those who abuse life in the name of profit through our current money system / world system -- as, we as 'spiritual people' are so consumed within our personal mental reality of ideas, self beliefs, fantasies, feelings, energy experiences, that we have blinded ourselves completely to the simple common sense realization that Life is that which has value - and currently, life is not valued in this world, but is used / abused / exploited / enslaved - as only self interest as one's personal mental created alternate reality experience, is valued. Otherwise, we as human beings would have already stood together and come up with a practical solution for this world to end poverty, end starvation, end war, end animal abuse, end the destruction of nature. Instead, what do we do? We present pretty words and pictures and ideas to each other, making ourselves feel good - and we call that 'change', we call that 'care', we call that 'love' - when in fact the only thing we love is our own experience of feelings we create through our beliefs and interpretations of what life is -- the whole time accepting and allowing the abusive money system / word system to continue because - as long as we have access to money we can be comfortable and occupy ourselves with our own life, and we simply do not want to give up this self interest of our own beliefs, our own interpretations, our own feelings, our own experience, to dedicate ourselves to standing together and agreeing to take responsibility for this world within actually acknowledging the real reality that is here going on daily, which does not need to be interpreted / felt, because we can all in fact see directly, equally, the same what is going on in this physical reality and we can all in fact see directly, equally, the same that it is unacceptable to allow beings to suffer because, unlike us, they can't get money.
So we'll now continue with deconstructing the following section from the quote above:
"…As you enthusiastically made the decision to come into this physical body and create in this way, you understood, from your Non-Physical vantage point, that this physical world was not broken and in need of repair and you did not come forth to fix it."
I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to be self honest with myself in that I actually realize that I do not in fact see what is after death, and what / where / how I existed before I was born into this life I am experiencing
Within this I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to accept and believe any story / explanation I read / hear that is based on the idea that 'everything is perfect just the way it is', and that the 'reason' I 'came here' to this physical reality, is to focus only on creating and experiencing my own experience that I want to have - simply because I like that explanation because it removes me from any point of responsibility for what exists in this world and makes me feel 'at peace' with the world
I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that from my Physical Vantage Point within this world, as a person with money and access to the internet, news, television - I can in fact see that this world IS broken -- but that, it is not the physical world itself that is broken, it is the human beings in this world that have broken this world and within this I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that we have broken this world through accepting a broken starting point of ourselves, where from the beginning we accepted a starting point of caring only about ourselves / our experience / those in our immediate world and that over time we created the current world system / money system through some gaining control of the earth's resources and making them available only to those who can get money - through a system of labor / jobs designed to keep people trapped in the struggle for survival, making it possible for a few to profit off the many, and rewarding the continued compliance and acceptance of the system with the 'freedom' to have your own beliefs and own your own things - so that those enslaved to a struggle for survival do not realize they are slaves and become trapped in the experience of 'their own life', augmenting, upgrading, and evolving the 'experience of my own life', making it seem like it is 'more than' what it is, through creating elaborate belief systems called spirituality within which we dream up all kinds of hopes and fantasies about what awaits after death, and pretty explanations / justifications for all the ways we suffer and struggle, so that we make ourselves feel like we are 'free', and that the world is here to support us in being 'free'
I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that a broken world is one where poverty and starvation exists and is allowed, as this indicates humanity is broken into separate pieces as 'only me in my life' - not considering self as actually being part of this world, but only considering the parts of this world that 'I can use' to make 'my life nice'
I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that those born into poverty and starvation and conditions where the only way to survive is through prostitution, slave labor, crime and violence, have had their opportunity to live and discover themselves as life broken by those who insist on an unequal world
I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that the only reason human beings come up with beliefs about the afterlife, and make up stories about how, the 'reason' that suffering and inequality exists is because it is the 'choice' made by the being experiencing it - a choice made at a 'higher level' in an invisible, made up 'non physical' place, is because we all actually SEE that this world is broken, that the way we live with each other on earth is broken -- because, if we were living together as the whole as equals in a way that is best for all -- all beings would be taken care of and there would be no abuse / suffering to make up justifications for
I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that in coming forth into this world in a circumstance within which I have money and education and support and can reach people with my voice - I am the one with the responsibility to fix this world, but to do this I have to give up my self interest and decide that who I am is Life, and then live this decision in walking a process of facing and stopping all self interest / separation I have accepted and allowed myself to exist within and as, and exposing all self interest as separation in this world until all illusions created by beliefs as self interest are broken and all are forced to face our responsibility as the creators of this world -- wherein then we must actually stand together and implement an actual solution to bring all those without money to an equal level with ourselves so that everyone has the opportunity and support to correct their nature to that which is best for all as we have done, and within this realizing that to implement a solution we will have to learn how to realign all industry and institutions of this world to that which is best for all so that we can create a new system within which humanity can be re-educated with practical living in taking responsibility to care for each other and the earth as equals, so that we can all be here as equals as the whole, caring for each other as it is supposed to be
To be continued in my next post where I will walk the Self Corrective Commitment statements for this point, and then in further posts deconstructing the rest of the quote placed at the beginning of this post.
